Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using BirthdayAlert ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using BirthdayAlert, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
The App requests access to your device's Contacts solely to read birthday information associated with your contacts. By granting this permission, you acknowledge that the App may access your contact data locally on your device. This data is never transmitted externally. You may revoke this permission at any time in your device's Settings.
BirthdayAlert schedules local notifications to remind you of upcoming birthdays. All notifications are generated on-device. You may disable notifications at any time via your device's Settings or within the App.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that birthday reminders will be delivered at any particular time.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall BirthdayAlert or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
